What can you say about
spending The New Years on
the Worlds Largest and
Newest Royal Caribbean
Ship than WOW!  December
30th we did just that. Seven
nights, Western Caribbean to
Labadee, Montego Bay
Jamaica, George Town
Grand Cayman and Cozumel
Mexico.
If you have traveled on the Voyager Class of ships, Voyager Adventures,
Explorer, Navigator or the Mariner of the Seas, you aren’t really going to
see a big difference until you get to the pool deck. The H2O Zone spans
almost ¼ of the pool deck and is a great place to drop the kids at the
pool and let them enjoy themselves.

The Royal Promenade is in fact a little longer than the Voyager Class
though you really do not notice it unless it is empty. Notice the pizza
parlor next to the Café, not included with the café. There is the
difference.

Our first day was at sea giving everyone the time to explorer the ship
and meet new people. Trivia? Walk a mile? Rock-wall anyone? Activities
galore on a sea day do what you want or do nothing at all. We left the
work schedule at home, but you might want to keep the cruise compass
handing for your ship schedule.
Ever been to Time Square? Maybe a good size party? How about with
4000+ passengers and crew all in the Royal Promenade. The
Champaign was flowing, the music blaring, The Captain wishing
everyone a prosperous New Year and balloons and streamers falling and
then popping as everyone hugged and kissed, even perfect strangers.

Inaugural New Years, now that really is something to experience.
